The report further adds that these voice messages could also help Apple improve voice recognition technology without revealing the user’s identity. This feature is optional and requires special permission if used by the user.

Once granted, users can also use this feature or go to the new Transscript section to jump to a specific timestamp.Once transcribed messages are saved locally WhatsApp Use the database to ensure that if the user decides to view the transcription again, they do not need to transcribe it again. This feature is currently under development and its availability is still unknown.
